Best thing is the possibility of doing quests in Hard Mode (as a requirement of the title)

That will be fun, specially the first areas in Tyria (Ascalon), reviving the old days, in HM.

I like the idea if they could also add a way for me to tell which quests I have and haven't done; there's so many I always forget which character has done what.

Maybe like Seut said - a hero's handbook/logbook thingy that you could complete and hand in for some sort of reward? That would be nice, and make the quests easier to keep track of.

How do you propose they keep track of who's done which quests, to make the title retroactive? Not like they've been keeping track of it now.

Barring that, how would they go about making the title fair for everyone: reactivate every quest for everyone, and you have to do it over again? No thanks...

They have been keeping track, that's the point.

During the bonus weekend players did quests but didn't get certain skill rewards because the skills weren't made yet. When GWEN came out they knew which quests people had done and rewarded them with the skills they didn't get.

If they didn't keep track how would they knew when to stop displaying a quest marker over someone's head?

You do get rewarded for completing quests. There's a reason most of the quests aren't repeatable - they aren't very interesting. The interesting ones are repeatable, and mostly they're called "missions". And you do get a title for them. There are a few interesting repeatable ones that aren't called missions, so you don't get a title, but you do get a little statue in a special room.

However /signed, because it would be nice to get to the top of the maxed titles rank without having to do too many of the frivolous titles.

Sure as hell pisses me off.

I think it should be implemented this way, pre-searing quests, native only quests, and all that jazz not included. Split the title into, Tyria, Cantha and Elona. Then have a title for amassing all the quests together, Legendary Adventurer.

I'd say all quests are tracked. The fact that a green exclamation mark doesn't appear above someone's head shows that anet knows we've done that quest.

Maybe anet's just not sure what to do with repeatable quests? Though I reckon it couldn't be that hard to know if someone's done it at least once.

That is a different idea, in that case they must add titles similar to GW:EN: Friend of Ascalonians, Friend of Krytans, Friend of Vabbians, and so on.

Its an interesting and nice idea but I doubt it will be implemented. GW staff seems to be getting ready to sit down hard and work on GW2. I dont see them adding anymore titles to GW (unless they are BPM titles -_-)

One would think that there ought to be some kind of recognition you would get for doing it all except having empty quest long and no "!"s on top of npc heads.
its not really nething to get a title about.
Your asking Anet to give us a reward for doing
Fedex quests takes this here, protect this person, find this, go to this town and talk to this NPC,
I can understand why Anet does not give reward for all all quests done they just wanted somethin for the players to do so they made 70% of the quests Fedex quests and the others Master diffaculty or dungeon or elite and you get rewards for doing the elite quests DOA/Urgoz/deep/uw/fow/SF as well as title rewards for doing Dungeons.

perfect name for it( legendary Postal boy)

The way it is right now, there is no point in doing any non-primary quest.

And consuming thousands of sweets and alcohol are? There are a bunch of titles that are severely pointless... but nonetheless I am all for the "Legendary Postal Boy" lol.

Say for 2500 quests completed or something
(maybe an exaggeration - anyone have an idea how many side quests there are in GW overall?)
Separate titles for each campaign simply because not everyone owns each and every campaign/expansion.

Good idea btw.

It should be the most important achieveng title.

The title of Adventurer, that punishes those that keeps quests undone to fart, and treats those that love the game and make all quests!

Gaile has already stated that she likes the idea. I wonder if she passed the info to the developers.

Which sadly is a trend in mmorpgs.

I wouldn't mind seeing a quest completion title. It'll probably be a bit of a grind, but most titles are anyway, right? It would also give me some motivation to do more of the quests, apart from the profession/skill quests in Prophecies, and the Cities of Ascalon quest for obvious monetary reasons.

Thank you for suggesting this been thinking about quest title as well,

If this is introduced I'd have free titles... maybe not! well I might have one that I miss out, I recently saw Davona outside Serenity Temple with an exclamation on her when I was trying to Vanquish that area, I don't run towards the end of the game, every stage of the game is played as they are meant to be played unless the quest is not an obvious one and need to take them out of town, i say i have 90% completed. yes do it do it... faster to reach God Status... if it were sperated into campaigns MWAHAHAHAHA

Yes this should have been there right on with the first titles

Also anyone think it should matter weather you are doing the quests while in HM or in NM.

Currently you are free to chose, but quest done in NM are not repeatable in HM.
